We use software tools to streamline all connections with your books. Below you will find a high-level overview of the systems we use and how they fit together during different financial cycles. We’ve broken down the key financial cycles to show how each system is used.

Expenses and Payables Cycle
Dext is an AI-powered receipt and invoice scanner and is how you submit receipts and invoices to us. This is the starting point for expenses. You can scan receipts using the mobile app or forward emailed invoices to your custom Dext email address.
Plooto is used to pay vendors and collect customer payments. It is integrated with QuickBooks Online and streamlines EFT payments and approvals.

Sales and Receivables Cycle
POS and eCommerce systems are integrated directly with QuickBooks Online where possible so that sales data flows through automatically. If a direct integration is not available, we build an automated process to ensure completeness.

Payroll Cycle
If you have engaged Agile to run payroll on your behalf, we will manage payroll through QuickBooks Payroll and remit payroll source deductions to CRA.
If you manage payroll in another system, we require the payroll journal entry for each cycle so it can be recorded in QuickBooks Online.

Sales Tax Cycle
If you have engaged us to process sales tax filings (GST/HST, PST, etc.), we will review and reconcile balances in QuickBooks Online and ensure filings are completed on time.
Please ensure there are no outstanding items on your Agile BK Portal for the tax reporting period.

Reporting Cycle
We prepare your reporting packages and upload them to the Agile BK Portal. You can also access custom reports directly from QuickBooks Online at any time.
