You can use Plooto to process your payments to the CRA for:
- Payroll Source Deductions
- Corporate Tax
- GST/HST
Before getting started, here is some of the information you will need to complete the following steps:
- Your 9 digit Business Number and following account number (ie. 123456789 RP0001).
- The period end related to the payment being made.
- If processing payroll source deductions:
- Total Gross Payroll Amount for the period
- Number of Employees paid
To get started, navigate to the Payables section in Plooto and click on New Payable.
You can then select CRA Tax Payments from the options provided.
This will take you to the Tax Payment screen where you can fill out the form based on the type of payment you need to make.
Once this is complete you can click Save and complete the payment process!
Reminder: If your account is set up with an Approval Workflow, the payment will not process until it has been approved by an authorized user.
