Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure you have:
- Administrator access to your Square Dashboard.
- Your unique Square login credentials.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Log In to Square
- Visit the Square Dashboard and log in.
2. Go to Team Management
- From the left menu, click Staff or Team.
- Select Team Members, then click Create Team Member.
3. Enter Agile’s Contact Details
- First Name: Agile
- Last Name: BK

Email Address: Use the special format:
admin+YOURCOMPANY@agilebk.com
🔁 Replace YOURCOMPANY with your business name or short identifier.
Example: If your company is “Beacon Consulting,” use:
admin+beacon@agilebk.com
4. Set Job Title and Access
- Job Title: Bookkeeper or Accountant
- Leave Pay Type fields blank (Agile does not need payment setup)
5. Assign Permissions
- Under Permissions, click Create a new permission set or select an existing one.

If creating new, we recommend enabling:
- View reports
- View and manage items
- View transactions
- Access Invoices
- Access Dashboard
⚠️ Note: Agile will only use access to view and manage financial data strictly for bookkeeping and advisory purposes.
We do not share, sell, or otherwise disclose any client data with third parties, and we never use your account to initiate transactions or make changes outside the scope of agreed-upon services.
6. Assign Location(s)
- If your Square account has multiple locations, assign all that apply.
7. Send the Invitation
- Click Save or Send Invite.
- Agile will receive an email invitation to access your Square account.
